M.A. Carrano is an experimental philosopher and systems consultant living and working out of New Haven, Connecticut. A former U.S. Congressional candidate, Carrano is the sitting Chair of Philosophy for The Libertarian Party of Connecticut as well as an acting representative of the Global Association of Systems Thinking. At present Carrano resides as a Senior Intelligence Analyst and Vice President of Avatar Paradigms: a professional consulting service whose mission is to bring the message of holism, systems theory and conscious evolution into the homes, university campuses and corporate board rooms of America through lectures, open debates and public symposiums.
As the author of Asleep in the Helix: Survival & the Science of Self Realization, Carrano has lectured at prominent Ivy League institutions such as Yale University as well as consulted with executives from such Fortune 500 companies as AstraZeneca on their need to introduce the principles of synergy, chaos and complexity into their management strategies. A former Action International Martial Arts Association kickboxing champion, in his spare time Carrano continues to enjoy powerlifting, practicing MMA as well as creating original artistic and musical compositions.
